Why: To celebrate local incoming PSU freshman
The Student Sendoff is always a lot of fun, and it is a great way to meet and socialize with our fellow alumni. Soon-to-be Penn Staters get to learn about all the different Penn State experiences of local alumni. A scholarship will be awarded during the picnic, and there will be a raffle with prizes for incoming and current students, among other activities.
